It’s important to know where to turn when you need something. I’ve compiled here a list of resources that should help you in your quest of entrepreneurship. These are more than just plain old recommendations. The services and products that I point you to here are what I personally use.

Each of these resources have been paid for and used by me. Keep checking back here, too. As I buy more services and use them for my business, I’ll pass the word on to you here. If I think you can benefit by using the same stuff I use, I’ll let you know.

Web Hosting Recommendations

1&1 Web Hosting – I started out with these guys. Their shared server linux packages are affordable, fast, and powerful. I haven’t been let down yet, and I’ve used them for years.

Hostgator – This is another really good web host. If you are looking for a dedicated server hosting solution, these guys are the win hands down. Their service is top-notch, and they have a 99% uptime guarantee.

Email Marketing / Autoresponder Services

Aweber – These guys are the only service I use and recommend. Autoresponders, full email marketing list management, double opt-ins, lightbox forms, and more. Check them out and use them for your email marketing if you aren’t using them already.

Blogging for Profit

Blogging to the Bank – If you are looking for a resource that will teach you exactly what you need to do to turn a profit from blogging, this is it. I read it, implemented what it said, and made some money. Check it out.

Internet Business and Lifestyle Design

Internet Business Mastery Academy – Sterling and Jay started out with a simple, free podcast that taught people about Internet business. Now they are recognized as experts across the US (and probably the world), and they want to teach you. The Internet Business Mastery Academy is a mastermind group membership complete with courses, tutorials, guru interviews, and more. You will learn a lot from them. Join. Now.

The Rich Jerk – The Rich Jerk is a $10 ebook that teaches you how to get started with Internet business. It’s a quick read with easy to follow recommendations. Get the book, read it, and start building a web-based business. If nothing else, at least check out the site. It’s really good.
