Re #4 (Laugh out loud.): Just remember that context is critical. Frequently being caught laughing out loud for no reason whatsoever, particularly at, say, funerals, could land you in a straight jacket while you, heavily sedated, watch your committal hearing.

Those are good ideas. Thanks, Lindsay.

Just for clarification, I realized about two months ago that I was moving but going absolutely nowhere. So, I stopped everything, worked on defining my goals, and developed a plan of action.

Now that I've got my focus, I'm actually getting things done and seeing positive results. And I'm less stressed because I'm not trying to do everything.

I've got a lot to do, still, but now I feel good about it.

Caleb, never let them see you sweat! ;)

You're doing fine with your podcasts. It's just hard listening to yourself speak. I'd record them, turn them over to someone else to edit, and then just go on feedback to decide what needs improving.

I listened to the last couple, and think you're off to a good start. I'd just recommend adding some stories as examples to help drive your points home. For example, when did you have to learn to focus in your own business and how did it help you accomplish more than you were when you were mutlitasking?

Good luck and keep working on them!

Thanks, Lindsay. I could really relate to the concepts Kiyosaki brought up in Cashflow Quadrant. Personally, I'm after freedom of time, but it seems that usually comes when one reaches financial freedom. I'm going to strive to implement the concepts of this book over the next couple of years and see where it takes me.

Hello fellow IBM podcast listener. :)

I love "Cube Escape" for a site name.

While the Kiyosaki books can get a bit repetitive, I do think Cashflow Quadrant is a good one. Probably even more so than Rich Dad, Poor Dad, it really drives home the idea that it's next to impossible to achieve true financial freedom when all you're doing is working a 9-5 and investing in 401ks and the like.

AT&T - 73 Million Subscribers

T-Mobile - 28 Million Subscribers

AT&T- More Expensive Services/Phones with success (as shown in subscribers) to a higher financial clientele

T-Mobile- Less expensive Service/Phones with success to a lower financial clientele

Point:

AT&T can afford to charge up to $600 for a phone (as the lines outside stores are proven so) AND still have plenty of subscriber class to market to.
T-Mobile has less subscribers and limited on high end devices WHILE supporting the service-to-phone cost ratio (E.G. The higher price a phone the higher standard the customer demands for quality service.)

Many less tech-savy people may determine the G1 to be a poor phone if T-Mobile drops many calls/undelivered SMS. Even though this is a reflection upon T-Mobile and NOT on the G1, many people may not understand or care, and just believe the G1 is a bad device regardless.
