Knowing when to quit

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything. Well, I’ve been busy getting my business going, and working, and relaxing with my family. So, there really hasn’t been much time to write.

I’m having to pull out of something that helped me out in the beginning but is now just being a drain on my bank account. My store, BDR Gear, drop ships products. I have no inventory at the office–I call it inventory management.

Anyway, I have two distributors, and one has a plethora of products. Their system works most of the time and their prices are acceptable. The only problem is that it costs forty bucks a month. It’s just not worth the investment to me. So, I’m cancelling my membership.

I believe that it’s smart to know when to quit. If something is not working, why keep pumping money into it? My other supplier has great gear, good prices, and ships really fast, so I’ll focus all of my store on their products. I’ll have to make some adjustments to my store, but I think this will work out better in the long run. Lesson learned.
